Wondering why you see the same people commit crimes on our evening news? Wondering where these people get their money to pay fines and bail out of jail? Well, it's not how you may think... Through my combing of the docket entries on case.net I keep seeing "Defendant to be assessed for pre-trial services".  This scares the crap out of  me. This is essentially a scam to keep jail numbers low. Let me explain why, please bear with me. Laura & John Arnold have the "Arnold Foundation", and they have developed a Public Safety Assessment algorithm.  Basically they give this to any court that wants to use it -- and the court trust a computer to decide whether or not someone is going to commit another crime if he is released on a pinky promise to come back.  (And somewhere I think I saw where the Arnolds are related to George Soros in some fashion.  If you don't know who Mr. Soros is let me know and I will do an article on him.) Yesterday I was reading a Facebook post from the Joplin Police Department on the infamous Willie J. Spencer.  So let's take a look at him.  Following is a Joplin Globe news article on Mr. Spencer:   I believe one of the cases that this article was referring to is 17AO-CR00551, ST V Willie J Spencer and the charge was Robbery carrying a Felony B.  Here is the history of the case: 5-9-17 the warrant was issued with a bond of $25,000 cash 5-18-17 the judge released Mr. Spencer ON HIS OWN RECOGNIZANCE(Get out of jail free) 6-7-17 Mr. Spencer appeared in court. 7-26-17 Mr. Spencer failed to appear in court. 7-31-17 a "Capias" warrant was issued with a $5,000 cash bond. 7-31-17 that warrant was served. "You're free to go...for free." Music to the ears of every habitual repeat criminal. Now, in Missouri, getting arrested is just a minor inconvenience , or “bump in the road”. A few days in jail getting fed, clothed, making new contacts, learning new scams, then released at no cost to them, WOW, what a deal!!  Own Recognizance (OR) or Pre-trial Release. For criminals, what a great deal they have going on here in our own Jasper county. Get out of jail and back to business (likely that got them there in the first place)... FOR FREE!!!!! They have nothing to worry about if they don’t show up for court, except the cops. So just don't get caught, right? But when they victimize the next tax payer (IF they are caught) they do it all over again! "Thanks judge! See you next month!"
