Jesse "Ace" James Rides Again

Sorry I have been away from writing articles lately, so much going on in my personal life.  Anyway ---
Let's get back to our messed up 29th Judicial District Court -- and Ace Mohr.
Currently Mr. Mohr has three (3) $60,000 warrants and one (1) $25,000 warrant for failing to appear.
The cases that have the warrants with $60,000 are probation violations on charges of Distribution/Delivery/Manufacturing/Produce a Controlled Substance and Receiving Stolen Property.  These three also have a bonding company that is facing a bond forfeiture of $30,000.00 X 3 = $90,000.00 that goes to the Jasper County School District if they cannot find him in time.  And just for the Jasper County School District's sake I am hoping they don't find him and have to pay -- but the way the judges in our district are acting like the defendant is the victim for the past 2-3 years it probably won't ever be put in PAYMENT DUE TODAY status.  In the past on these cases Mr. Mohr had been released to The Lazarus House for treatment (hold on while I catch my breath from laughing out loud at that) and once to The Road, which he wouldn't have completed.  If you are a loved one looking for the correct spot for your addict to go, The Road is the superior place in this area.
Then you have the warrant with $25,000.00 bond attached.  Our Judicial System has decided to treat the victim as the defendant, I have been trying to get the word out on this for at least the last year.  And here is something even funnier -- on this particular case Mr. Mohr was RELEASED ON HIS OWN RECOGNIZANCE with the infamous "pinkie promise" that he would return for his court date. And the judge that did that waited till the case was to be bound over to Division 1 to release him.  The public that has had to deal with Mr. Mohr can all agree that Mr. Mohr is NOT going to return for a court date that no one is holding his feet to the fire on AND he is going to be creating havoc and running amuck.
This same judge had Mr. Mohr assessed by the Pre-Trial Release program -- no I am not kidding you -- I wonder if this judge even bothered to look at Mr. Mohr's past record -- just look at case.net, you don't need to spend my tax payer dollars on another program.
As it would be entered on Facebook --SMH
***UPDATED: Ace Mohr was booked into Jasper County Jail 11-20 @ 1:57 pm***
Back The Blue -- take care of each other out there because our 29th Judicial District is not and
HAPPY TRAILS.

  1. He was released on his own recognizance as part of a plea agreement to waive preliminary hearing because his girlfriend did not want to testify against him. Had he not agreed to waive hearing the charges would have been dropped entirely. A true reporter would be present in court and hear the whole story instead of just making up a story based on something he reads on line.
