Sympathy for the Devil

Did all of you see this in the paper over the weekend? Do you realize that the far far far left is running our Missouri Supreme Court!? George Soros, satan himself, is winning the battle and most of your elected officials are drinking the koolaid! Place a call to your county commissioners, judges, and prosecuting attorney and let them know how far off their rocker they really are.  Emphasis that THEIR CONSTITUENTS are not in the same line getting refills of the koolaid! ENOUGH SAID BACK THE BLUE, our elected officials certainly are not.  Take care of each other.  Happy Trails Jasper County Jane

Around and Around They Go - Vacationing on Our Taxes

Tax Time! Man, how I hate taxes, going to be very interesting this year to say the least.  I did take some time out of getting all that ready when I ran across Derek Slatton on casenet and thought some therapy writing an article might help. It just amazes me how our 29th Judicial District simply hasn't got a clue -- the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing or do they just not care as long as that taxpayer paycheck keeps rolling in. Mr. Slatton has 3 cases going on in 3 different courts.   3-11-17 In Newton County (17NW-CR00459) charged with misdemeanor DWI and Driving While Revoked,  he was mailed a Criminal Summons to appear in court 5-16-17, he failed to appear , judge #1 issued a warrant with a $1,000 Code bond. SIX MONTHS LATER 11-23-17 arrested in Joplin and charged with a misdemeanor DWI (17AP-CR01370).  Judge #2 put a $2,500 surety bond on this, Mr. Slatton bonded on this case and the Newton County case.  This ca...

Jesse "Ace" James Rides Again

Sorry I have been away from writing articles lately, so much going on in my personal life.  Anyway --- Let's get back to our messed up 29th Judicial District Court -- and Ace Mohr.   Currently Mr. Mohr has three (3) $60,000 warrants and one (1) $25,000 warrant for failing to appear. The cases that have the warrants with $60,000 are probation violations on charges of Distribution/Delivery/Manufacturing/Produce a Controlled Substance and Receiving Stolen Property.  These three also have a bonding company that is facing a bond forfeiture of $30,000.00 X 3 = $90,000.00 that goes to the Jasper County School District if they cannot find him in time.  And just for the Jasper County School District's sake I am hoping they don't find him and have to pay -- but the way the judges in our district are acting like the defendant is the victim for the past 2-3 years it probably won't ever be put in PAYMENT DUE TODAY status.  In the past on these cases Mr. Mohr h...

Justice for Jasper County

Sorry I've been gone awhile, had a new grandbaby added to the family and was busy traveling. Guys -- don't be too hard on Mr. Fleischaker.  He is a defense attorney and his clients present a much better picture to any judge he is in front of when they are out of jail and in street clothes.   Although I do think I struck a nerve. I got some figures together on the primary election and they are depressing to say the least.  Hopefully I am reading these correctly.  There are 75,617 Republican voters in Jasper County and of that number only 16,147 actually got off their duff and went to the polls.  Now - here are some more figures for you: -of the 16,147 that voted only 13,163 actually darkened the circle to vote for Judge Crane -of the 16,147 that voted only 13,259 actually darkened the circle to vote for Judge Mouton -of the 16,147 that voted only 12,900 actually darkened the circle to vote for Judge Nicholas -of the 16,147 that voted ...

Money that Belonged to Our Kids

More and more I am seeing bonds that are being issued by the judges as "10% cash required to the court".   Here are 4 just off the Jasper County Sheriff's Office roster: 1.  Cody Proffitt - 18AO-CR00761 - Stealing Controlled Substance -  D Felony $3,000 - 10% cash required 2.  Jesse Sprinkle - 17AO-CR01562-01 - 2nd/Assault - B Felony $15,000 - 10% cash required 3.  Darrell Towne - 18AO-CR00882 - Domestic Assault - E Felony $10,000 - 10% cash required 4.  Scott Troutman - 18AO-CR00490-01 - Attempted Burglary/Receive Stolen Prop/ Assault C Felony $35,000 - 10% cash required With these type bonds the defendant posts 10% of the bond with the court and gets a 90% discount for the rest.  Remember from past articles I have told you that when a defendant is on bond with a bondsman and takes off, they have to find him or pay the entire amount of the bond, 100% to...

Tax Dollars Wasted

DO YOU KNOW WHERE YOUR TAX DOLLARS ARE GOING AND WHY? For several months now I have been trying to get information in front of my readers concerning what I see as problems with the 29th Judicial District Court that will/are effect/affecting the pocketbook of the taxpaying citizens of Jasper County.  They are replacing a system that cost the TAX PAYERS NOTHING, with a system that costs them millions.  And on top of that bullshit they believe the Defendant is the actual Victim.   This blog is the only way that I know of to get the information out to as many citizens of Jasper County as possible as they have had no contact with the court system and because of this they are not aware of the issues because it doesn't affect them.   On the following cases, the defendant was released Pretrial Release Program or on his Own Recognizance: CASE NUMBER DEFENDANT RELEASED OR/ HASN'T BEEN BACK PRETRIAL RELEASE TO COURT SINCE 17AO-CR00089 ...

Felons Free to Go - Lawlessness Continued

On June 19, 2018 Joplin News First had a post on Facebook which Citizens Against Crime shared concerning Jacob R. Davis.  The very first line of the post was "$150,000 CASH ONLY BOND SENDS STRONG MESSAGE". My first question is - What strong message? Let's look at some cases that were charged with Armed Criminal Action from 2017 - 1.  Jerold Dunn, 17AO-CR00265, Assault X 2 and Armed Criminal Action X 2, four felony charges. On 3-17-17 his bond was $20,000 CASH.  He was in jail 78 days and judge released him Pretrial Release Program.  August 7, 2017 he failed to appear and showed up for court on 8-21-17 at which time his Pretrial Release Program was reinstated.  He failed to appear again on 1-8-18 and 2-20-18 but managed to show up on 3-12-18 and was sentenced. 2.  Opee W Duvall, 17AO-CR00635, Burglary, Armed Criminal Action, Assault, all felony charges.  His bond was $10,000 cash or surety or $2,000 CASH.  Warrant was served o...
